Welcome from our Cubmaster
What I love most about Pack 9 is the people. It’s a place where kids can have fun, try new things, learn new skills, and make memories while being surrounded by leaders and families who genuinely want to see them succeed. I love watching the kids grow in confidence, take on new challenges, and, most importantly, have fun along the way.
Pack 9 is for boys and girls who are looking for adventure, friendship, and opportunities to learn and grow, regardless of their experience level. Whether your child is outgoing or a little more reserved, there is a place for them here. We want every child to feel welcomed, included, and proud to be part of Pack 9.
If you’re considering joining Pack 9, I’d encourage you not to make a decision based on a brochure or a conversation alone. Come join us for a Tuesday meeting, meet the kids and leaders, and see what we’re all about for yourself. You might just find that Pack 9 is the place your child has been looking for.

What Cub Scouts do, by grade
Scouts are grouped into dens by school grade, and each den works on age-appropriate adventures. Scouts meet every Tuesday. On most Tuesdays the dens meet separately, and on the last Tuesday of the month the whole pack comes together to celebrate the awards Scouts earned that month.
Tigers
First graders with a desire to be outside. Tigers earn adventure loops, keep working on the Scout Oath and Law, and learn alongside their parents and den leaders.
Wolves
Second graders with a passion for action. Wolves earn adventure loops and spend a lot of time working on teamwork.
Bears
Third graders seeking knowledge of craft. Bears earn adventure loops, earn their Whittling Chip, and spend their time doing instead of watching.
Webelos
Fourth graders who want to be leaders. Webelos earn pins rather than belt loops, and work on leadership skills indoors and out.
Arrow of Light
Fifth graders putting the whole program together. Arrow of Light Scouts earn pins and visit Scout troops to find the right fit for themselves and their family.
